Dense Urban Environment Community of Practice Assembly (COPA)

The National Center for Urban Operations (NCUO) provides senior mentorship for the Dense Urban Environment Community of Practice Assembly (COPA), originally established by the US Army Asymmetric Warfare Group’s (AWG) Dense Urban Terrain Detachment (DUTD), maintained by the 75th Innovation Command New York City Squadron (75NYC), and hosted by the Army Application Lab (AAL) in Manhattan. The purpose of these quarterly assemblies is to develop and maintain a resilient network of defense, interagency, and private sector partners committed to solving the emerging challenges of operations in dense urban environments.

These events began in 2018 occur quarterly.
