The National Center for Urban Operations Dense Urban Operations Solution Portfolio

The National Center for Urban Operations (NCUO) provides analytical support to US
Forces Command (FORSCOM) and geographic combatant commanders (GCCs)
seeking to better understand the threats, challenges, and opportunities inherent to
dense urban combat. The purpose of this advisory role is to assist in the
implementation of emerging doctrinal requirements as outline in TRADOC Pamphlet
525-3-1, “The US Army in Multi-Domain Operations 2028” (December 2018) and
TRADOC Pamphlet 525-92-1, ”The Changing Character of Warfare: The Urban
Operational Environment” (April 2020).
