The National Center for Urban Operations (NCUO) provided subject matter expertise in support of a capstone exercise to explore the future of military operation in dense urban terrain at the Columbia University School of International & Public Affairs (SIPA) under the direction of the National Security Innovation Network (NSIN).

The National Center for Urban Operations (NCUO) supported the “Current and Future Operations in Megacities” conference at the Tokyo National Institute for Defense Studies, hosted jointly by Japanese Ground Self-Defense Force (JGSDF), US Army Pacific (USARPAC), US Army Japan (UARJ), Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC), and the Australian Army.

The National Center for Urban Operations (NCUO) supported the MWI-IDCH Subterranean Challenges in War and Peace Conference in Israel, hosted by IDCH and held in conjunction with MWI, the Liber Institute on Law and Land Warfare, and the US Embassy.

The National Center for Urban Operations (NCUO) provided faculty advisory and senior mentorship for a multidisciplinary team of students conducting a capstone exercise to explore the future dense urban environment from a resiliency perspective at the Columbia University School of International & Public Affairs (SIPA) in support of the United States Military Academy (USMA) at West Point’s Department of Geography and Environmental Engineering (GENE).

The National Center for Urban Operations (NCUO) provides senior mentorship for the Dense Urban Environment Community of Practice Assembly (COPA) hosted by the US Army Application Lab (AAL) in Manhattan, New York City and organized by the Asymmetric Warfare Group’s Dense Urban Terrain Detachment (DUTD) and 75th Innovation Command New York City (75NYC) Squadron.
